FAQ

We answer all your Questions!

The cost varies depending on the size of the window and how many there are to service. Generally, for a regular-sized window of up to 10 square feet, the cost is $100 if we are only doing 1. If you have multiple units to service, we apply a volume discount. For glass replacement, we will have to measure the window to give a price. The estimator will be able to provide exact pricing during the quote!

The defogging process involves drilling an opening in the bottom and top corner of the glass. We then spray an alcohol-based agent inside the unit to help it dry evenly and give the glass it’s clarity back. From there we extract the liquids with a vacuum and cover the openings with a vent to regulate the pressure between the panes. We warranty this process for 10 years.

We also do glass replacement for when the defogging process isn’t the right solution for the problem.

We warranty our service for 10 years, and on select products up to 20 years!

We have more than 15 years of experience in the defogging and glass replacement industry.

Yes the estimates are in fact free.

This depends on how many units we have to look at. Generally it can be anywhere from 15 min-45min if there are many units to assess.

This is most likely an indication that you have single-pane windows. This is not something that the defogging process can fix and we don’t service those windows. If you are able to wipe the fog with your hands then that confirms that it is a single pane glass and we don’t service this. The best remedy for this issue is to purchase plastic covers that block wind from the hardware store or check caulking.

At the moment we don’t service window parts. If the client is having windows defogged or replaced with us we may have our technician take a look at the issue, but we don’t provide quotes for this service.

This is another example of a service we don’t provide. Our work strictly deals with the glass portion of the window. Any issues with hardware should be referred to a handyman.

We usually see clients between 9:30am and 3:45pm
